Aletta M. Reynolds, 81, of Forsyth died Sunday, April 9, 2017 in Cox Medical Center South Springfield. The visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 11 in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home with burial in the Lutie Cemetery, Theodosia.

Aletta Mae Reynolds was born Friday September 27, 1935 in Pontiac, MO to Clyde Robert and Susie (Sanders) Pitts. She graduated from Gainesville High School. After school she worked in the local drug store and Gulf Propane. In 1967 she moved to Forsyth where she owned and operated the Western Auto store for five year. Aletta then worked in the banking industry and retired from Boatman's Bank after twenty-six year. She then went to work for Taney County Assessor's Office and retired in 2005.

Aletta never met a stranger nor forgot a name. She was a hard worker and delighted in spoiling her grandchildren. She was very passionate about her family. Her greatest enjoyment was shopping at the thrift stores, attending the Branson Shows and being with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Darrell Reynolds and wife, Jan of Rogersville, MO, Donald Reynolds and wife, Karin of Montgomery, AL; a brother, Billy Pitts of Olathe, KS; a sister, Betty Hale of Springfield; sister-in-law, Betty Pitts of Wichita, KS; five grandsons, Ray, Dennis, Caleb, Aaron, Jonathan; three granddaughters, Stacy, Shawna, Brandi; five great-grandchildren, Zoey, Zada, Luke, Seth, Izak and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Vernon and Alva Pitts; one sister, Eula Quick.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
