Beverly E. Presley, 73, of Forsyth died Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at Faith Assembly of God Church, 14003 US Hwy 160, Forsyth at 2:00 PM Saturday January 28. Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.

Beverly Earlene Presley was born August 3, 1943 in Childress, TX to Earl Raymond and Lois Fern (Smith) Brown. She was the second of six children. As a child, Beverly and her family moved often. She graduated from the Amarillo High School in the class of 1960. Her family moved from Amarillo, TX to Clovis, NM the day she graduated.

Beverly met her husband, Gary Wayne Presley in Clovis, NM and they were united in marriage on May 29, 1965 while Gary was in the US. Air Force. The first of two beautiful daughters, Tracy Renee was born on November 5, 1965. Beverly, Gary and Traci then moved to Artesia, NM after Gary returned from Vietnam in 1970. Their second daughter, Dayle Fern was born August 18, 1970. Beverly was determined she was not going to move her children from town to town as she had been and she and Gary lived in Artesia for 21 years. Gary worked in the oil industry while Beverly worked in varying positions as Valley Federal Savings and Loan (1971-1989). In 1991, she and Gary relocated to Neosho, MO to be closer to their children and lived there until 2003. When Beverly was ready to retire, they made their final move to Forsyth in 2003 and have a place close to the lake so that Gary could fish and she could enjoy being out in nature.
As many know, Beverly was not one to just 'sit and do nothing." She got a part time job at Silver Dollar City which she loved more than any other job she ever had and will miss getting to see the sights and smells but most of all, the smiles on everyone's faces.

She was been a member of the Assemblies of God Church most of her life and loved her church family at Faith Assembly of God in Forsyth where she was part of the women's ministries. Her hobbies included nightly reading from her Bible. She has read over eight versions. She also enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and setting on her front porch enjoying nature. She loved listening to gospel music and attending numerous Branson shows. Beverly is best known for her up-beat, bubbly and positive personality and constant chattering. She was always on the go and walked fast with purpose in mind and expected everyone else to "keep up."

She is survived by her husband, Gary Presley of Forsyth; one daughter, Dayle Henderson and husband, John of Texas; three brothers, Raymond, Luther and Rocky Brown and wife, Tammy all of Stillwater, OK; eight grandchildren, Nicole, Jorden, Katlyn, Chelsea, Brandon, Tristan, Jillian and Levi and two great grandchildren, Kennedy and Leighton.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Traci Renee and two sisters, Barbara Brown and Linda Battles.

Memorials in lieu of flowers and in memory of Beverly Presley may be made to Faith Assembly of God Church Mission Program.
