Carol J. Angus, 75, of Hollister, died Friday, March 10, 2017, in the Forsyth Nursing and Rehab Center. Services will be private.

Carol June Angus was born Thursday, December 3, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Donald Frank and Juanita Laura (Dobson) Buss. She graduated from the Kelly Curie Gage Park High School of Chicago in the class of 1958. Carol worked at various jobs. She was a homemaker, she owned and operated a taxi service in Chicago and later owned and operated Bales Steel Magnets in Chicago.

Carol was always there to help. Her great sense of humor and kind heart would make everyone laugh and smile. She was everyone's best buddy and the greatest grandmother. It was said that she could make a dollar last forever. Not only did she love her family, she also loved training dogs. She was a member of the American Legion Post #854 of Evergreen Park, IL.

She is survived by one son, Harold Dee Bennett of Scottsdale, AZ; two daughters, Lisa M. Davis and husband, Jeff Gibson of Branson, Jennifer Thompson of Chicago; a brother, Charles D. Buss of Chicago; grandchildren, Amanda, Nichole, Stacie, Tiffanie, Kristi; great-grandchildren, Allisa, Apryl, Vajia, Gage, Lilly, Jeremy, David, Daniel, Skylynn, Shailynn, Lonnie, Aiden and three nieces, Coryanne, Debbie, and Sherylynn.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one sisters, Darlene Veverka and two brothers, David and Donald Buss.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
