Mr. Cecil G. Beeler, 77, of Kissee Mills, MO, died Saturday, November 18, 2017 in
Cox Health Branson, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, November
24th, 2017 in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth. Funeral service
will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 25th in the funeral home with pastor David
Koenig officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Pilgrim Cemetery, Taneyville, MO.
Cecil Gene Beeler was born, Thursday, August 22, 1940 in Kissee Mills, MO, the
second of ten children to Edward Clifton and Flora Arlene (Collins) Beeler. Cecil is a
life-long resident of Kissee Mills and attended school in the Old Johnson School
House in Kissee Mills. After finishing eighth grade, Cecil went to work with his father
to help support the family, working in the timber industry and hauling hay. He
married his long-time friend, Stella Grady on St. Patrick's Day March 17, 1961 in
Kissee Mills. They started their life together in Kissee Mills where they lived for four
years and then moved to Kansas City, MO. Cecil went to work for the General
Motors Co. on the assembly line. He then went to work for Sinclair Gas Co. for a
few years and then TG & Y Warehouse. In 1976 the family moved back home to
Kissee Mills and went to work as a Carpenter for Kavon Construction Co. until he
retired in the late 1980's.
Cecil enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, welding, tinkering, attending rodeos and bull
riding competition's, and he really enjoyed watching westerns on T. V. but most of
all he loved spending time with his family. He was little gruff on the outside but on
the inside, he was a kind-hearted Teddy bear, and a wonderful hero to his children.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Beeler of Kissee Mills; two sons, Mike Beeler and
wife, Pam of Taneyville, Kenny Beeler and wife, Rebecca also of Taneyville; two
daughters, Debbie Lumley and husband, Randy of Kissee Mills, Joanna Jasper and
husband, James of Kissee Mills; one brother, Ernie Beeler of Bruner, MO; six sisters,
Shirley Shipman and husband, Terry of Taneyville, Betty Aldridge of Kissee Mills,
Bobbie Ferguson of Forsyth, Linda Worster and husband, Charles of Forsyth, Connie
Jennings and husband, Frank of Independence, MO, Donna Blair and husband, Larry
of Bradleyville, MO; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Carletta Kutchko; one
brother, Junior Beeler and one sister, Franny Clift.
