Daisy Sanders, 95, of Taneyville died Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Forsyth Nursing and Rehab Center. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 17th in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM in the Brown Cemetery, Kissee Mills with Pastor Ed Hunsaker officiating.

Daisy Viola Sanders was born Tuesday, November 20, 1923 in Cedar Creek to Charlie and Elsie (Sisco) Marler. She attended school in Cedar Creek. She married Willie Abe Sanders in January, 1946 in Cedar Creek. She became a homemaker and in her later years worked as a teacher's aide in the Bradleyville Schools. She is a life-long resident of the area. Willie died in December 2012.

Daisy was the sweetest person you would ever meet. She was good hearted, caring, wonderful host and cook. The door was always open to all. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing and traveling. She was of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by one daughter, Carol Hunsaker and husband, Steve of Kissee Mills; a brother, Vernon Marler of Rueter, MO; daughter in law, Linda Sanders; ten grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Sanders; one brother, Thurman Marler; one sister, Christine Hankins; two sons, Bill Sanders and wife, Karen and Bob Sanders; a grandson, Aaron Hunsaker; a great-granddaughter, Jordan Sanders and a great-great- grandson, Conner Sanders.

Memorials in memory of Daisy Sanders may be made to the American Cancer Society.
