Mr. Douglas F. Bonick, 40, of Forsyth, MO, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in Rockaway Beach. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 22 in the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Douglas Fremont Bonick was born, Wednesday, December 15, 1976 in Hammond, IN to Jack and Treasa (Carroll) Bonick. He attended high school in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and also graduated from the Culinary Arts Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. Douglas worked mainly as a mechanic.

He collected baseball cards, knives, and watches and enjoyed working with computers. He was an avid New England Patriates Football fan. In school, Douglas was the class clown. He loved to joke around and hang-out with his friends. He was a loving and devoted family man and was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife, Tara Bonick of Forsyth, MO; father, Jack Bonick of Forsyth; mother, Treasa Beattie of Scottsville, KY; mother and father in-law, Levi and Ann Schilling of Forsyth; Brother and sister in-law, Andy and Karri Van Dorn of Forsyth; one nephew, Cayden Schilling.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
