Eugene "Buck" Grayson, 77, of Forsyth died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in
the Forsyth Nursing and Rehab Center. Services will be private.
Eugene Edgar Grayson was born Tuesday, September 16, 1941 in Buffalo, TX
to L. M. and Jessie (Graham) Grayson. He attended school in Buckner, TX
and graduated from the Buckner High School with the class of 1960. In 1961
he enlisted in the U. S. Airforce and was stationed at the Carswell AFB in Ft.
Worth where he served as an Air Policeman. He was honorably discharged in
1965. He then attended the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville where he
received a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources. He worked in the
telecommunications industry as the manager of a warehouse in Hurst, TX
until he retired in 2001. He met Brenda Holmes in Ft. Worth and they were
married October 6, 2006 in Ft. Worth. They moved to King William, VA and in
2018 moved to Forsyth.
Buck was a 'people person' that loved to talk and tell stories. He had an
excellent sense of humor and could sell anything to anyone. He was very
devoted to his family. He also enjoyed flea markets and attending auctions.
He collected art and was an avid reader of western novels. He also was a
He is survived by his wife, Brenda of Forsyth; two sons, Brian Grayson of
Flippin, AR, Geoffrey Delaney and wife, Dusty of Garland, TX; two daughters,
Mindy Fewell and husband, Billy of Weatherford, TX, Jennifer Delaney and
husband, George of Branson, MO; three sisters, Jessie Butler of Waco, TX,
Hazel Brown of Iowa Park, TX, Bobby Sue Cox and husband, Bob of Houston,
TX; ten grandchildren: Logan, Mary, Noah, Kaden, Lilly, Samantha, Trinity,
Xavier, Oliver and Eden and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
