Francis Fleetwood, 92, of Forsyth died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in the Forsyth Nursing and Rehab Center. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, September 10, 2018 in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson.

Francis Oliver Fleetwood was born Wednesday, February 17, 1926 in Rippee, MO to Curtis and Adaline (McCraven) Fleetwood. He attended school in Douglas County and worked in the area for a few years. He was married to Bonnie Drisckill in 1945. They moved to Dodge City, KS where he worked as a truck driver. In the late 1940's they moved back to MO where he owned and operated a sawmill. He contracted timber for the U.S. Government for twenty years. Bonnie died in 1965 and Francis moved to Dewitt, MO where he drove a grain truck. He retired in 1984-85.

Francis was always willing to help anyone in need. He was very honest and never complained. His greatest enjoyment was fishing.

He is survived by one son, Tim Fleetwood and wife, Kathy of Taneyville; one daughter, June Robinson and husband, William of Kissee Mills; three grandchildren Tawn Saunders, Thane Sharpe, Jeff Fleetwood and eight great-grandchildren: Braxton, Xander, Ronan, Noah, Caleb, Emily, Gabriel and Braxton.

He preceded in death by his parents; wife Bonnie; six brothers and three sisters.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
