Fred W. Holt, 77, of Forsyth died Sunday December 31, 2017 in the Forsyth Nursing and Rehab Center. Services will be private.

Fred William Holt was born Sunday, June 30, 1940 in Baxter Springs, KS to Fredrick Edward and Edith Florence (Fegley) Holt. He graduated from the Baxter Springs High School. Fred became truck driver and drove for many years. He then drove a Taxi for the city of Olathe, Kansas and drove for many years. He moved to Branson around 1997 and later to Forsyth.

Fred was very likeable and friendly to everyone. He would talk to anyone and made friends easily. He enjoyed fishing and was of the Baptist Faith.


He is survived by two sons, Billy and Gary Holt; a sister, Zelma Russell and husband, Ernie of Kansas City, KS; a niece, Sherral DeVal and a nephew, Rusty Russell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Edith Holt.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
