Glenda L. Jenkins, 68, of Theodosia died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in
Mercy Care Center, Springfield. The visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 PM
Sunday, November 18th in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home. The
funeral will be at 1:00 PM Monday at the Salem General Baptist Church, Ocie
with Pastor Jeramie Henson officiating. Burial will be in the Ditt Cemetery,
Glenda Lou Jenkins was born Saturday, May 20, 1950 in Springfield, MO to
Glen and Reva (Choate) Reeves. She attended school and graduated from
the Marion C. Early High School in Morrisville, MO with the class of 1968. She
lived in Springfield where she worked at Cox Hospital and Zenith. In 1971 she
met Frank Jenkins in Springfield. They were married the next year in Miami,
OK. The couple moved to the Protem-Ocie area where Glenda worked at
Hagel Industries and at the Baxter Lab in Mountain Home. She later became
a ranch manager, school bus driver and as an over the road truck driver for
Kraft. She then worked as a server and manager for Starvin Marvin's in
Branson for twenty-nine year.
Glenda was a very resourceful, laid-back lady, stubborn at times but dearly
loved her family and would help anyone in need. She also loved working,
reading, gambling and camping. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her husband Frank Earl Jenkins of Theodosia; one son,
Frank Earl Jenkins Jr. and husband, Nader Farhat of San Antonio, TX; five
daughters, Stephanie Reich and husband Von of Theodosia, Paula Brumfield
and husband, Mark of Nixa, MO, Melissa Jenkins and fiancé, Eric of Isabella,
MO, Staci Burton and husband, Robert of Ava, MO, Lisa White and husband
Randy of Springfield; four brothers, James Maggard of Sparta, Johnny Bell
and wife, Glenda of Republic, MO, Junior Bell and wife, Lynn of Bolivar, MO,
Shane Reeves of Anaheim, CA; seven sisters, Nina Kessler of Morrisville,
Teresa Roy and husband, Melvin of Aldridge, MO, Rosita Day of Marshfield,
MO, Becky Baker and husband, John of Bolivar, Rhonda Rotramel of Tulsa,
OK, Melvina Tucker and husband, Randy of Willard, MO, Christine Barth and
husband, Mike Las Vegas, NV; Sixteen grandchildren and sixteen
She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Shaun Jenkins; one
daughter, Shannon Jenkins and stepfather, Melvin Bell.

Children, P. O. Box 1525, Ranson, WV 25438.
