Jack E. Haile, 76, of Forsyth died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Branson with Bishop Ryan Sorenson officiating. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Billings, MO.

Jack Edwordo Haile was born Friday, March 21, 1941 in Seattle, WA to Jackson Newton Overstreet and Goldie Bell (Farrow) Haile. He attended school in Seattle and enlisted in the US Army in 1959. He served as a Military Policeman with Co. A. 793rd MP Battalion. He served stateside and in Germany. While in the service, he married longtime friend, Judy Ann Enyart in Pico Rivera, CA. They were married on April 30, 1960 in Las Vegas, NV. Jack was honorably discharged in 1962 with the rank of Specialist. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal.
After his military service, he was employed as a conductor for the Southern Pacific Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad. He retired from the railroad in 2001.

Jack was a very lovable man with a fun sense of humor. He always spoke his mind and was very opinioned. He studied genealogy, collected many things and had a great interest in cars. He was very traditional and had a soft touch for animals. At times he was a little ornery but most of all he adored his wife and was as faithful as an old dog.

He is survived by his wife, Judy of Forsyth; a son, Christopher Haile and wife, Karin of Oro Valley, AZ; two daughters Brandy Pedersen and husband, Brian of St. Peters, MO, Kelly Haile and fiancé, Mark of Huntington Beach, CA and a cousin, Margaret Barns.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Allen Smith.
