James D. Tullis, 50, of Forsyth, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Cox Medical
Center Springfield. A Celebration memorial and luncheon to be held Sat.
March 16th, 1pm - 3pm at Chuck's Restaurant in Highland Park, Iowa.
James Dale Tullis was born Monday, April 8, 1968 in Des Moines, IA to Paul
Veron and Linda Maylou (Fett) Tullis. He attended school in Des Moines and
graduated from the Des Moines Technical High School with the class of
1986. After graduation, James entered the restaurant business and worked
all phases of restaurant operations. He was a bit of a "roamer" and lived in
many different cities including: Ames, Stuart, Des Moines, Branson,
Kimberling City MO, Tyler TX, Apache Jct. AZ and finally Forsyth.
Jim made friends easily and never met a stranger. He was fiercely loyal, a
little stubborn and always full of good intentions. He was a Chicago Bears
fanatic and also loved music of all types, dancing, spending time with his
daughter, baking, fishing and visiting with friends.
He is survived by his partner, Melissa Stout of Forsyth; a daughter, Margaret
Mae Cameon of Forsyth; father, Paul Tullis of Des Moines; a brother, David
Tullis and fiancé, Lisa Bloch of Des Moines, and step-daughter Kelia Guerreo
of Des Moines.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Tullis and wife, Caudamia
