Joe Lee Shockey, 73, of Forsyth, died Monday, June 3, 2019 in the Forsyth
Care Center. The visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, June 10th
in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home. The funeral service will be a
10:00 AM Tuesday in the funeral home with burial in the Bradleyville
Joe Lee Shockey was born Wednesday, October 10, 1945 in Brown Branch,
MO to Westley and Zelma (Blacksher) Shockey. He attended school in
Bradleyville. Joe worked in commercial construction as a stone mason in
Michigan and Missouri.
Joe had a great sense of humor and was very witty and sarcastic. He
enjoyed drinking, fishing, camping, women and drag racing.
He is survived by two sons, Joey L. Shockey of Kansas City, MO, Jeffrey L.
Shockey and wife Angela of Garrison, MO; three daughters, Lisa M. Isabell of
Kansas City, KS, Bobbi Jo Shockey of Branson, Martha Nicole Shockey of
Phoenix, AZ; four sisters, Phyllis Harris of Ozark, MO, Sharon Tate of
Rockaway Beach, Barbara Morgan of Harrison, AR, Sheila Davis and husband,
Ed Davis of Taneyville, MO; twelve grandchildren: Courtney Horner, Cail,
Cayden, Cyler Isabell, Zachary, autumn, Brooke, Jeffrey Joshua Shockey,
Tommy, Daniel and Alonna Darnell.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Will Boyer, Jim
and Merle Shockey.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral
Home, Forsyth, MO.
