Mrs. Margaret A. Taylor, 68, of Forsyth died Friday, August 25, 2017 in the Forsyth Care Center. Interment will be at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.

Margaret Arlene Taylor, was born Sunday February 13, 1949 in Taney County, MO to John Henry and Ruby (Hurd) Addington. Margaret was a life-long resident of Taney County and was raised on her family's cattle farm in Taneyville. She attended Forsyth High School and graduated in the class of 1967. She married Glendel Braden in 1966 and was married for 21 years. Margaret was a professional banker and worked in New Accounts with a local bank in Forsyth that later became Boatmen's Bank. She married Albert Taylor in 1988 in Forsyth. Albert died in 2003. Margaret retired from banking after 30 years in 2005.

Margaret was a happy, positive, loving and generous lady that always had a smile. When she was not going to her daughter's ball games, spoiling her grandchildren or working with the women's group in her church, she was painting, reading, doing arts and crafts or being outdoors in her garden. She was God fearing with a very strong faith and a member of the Church of Christ in Forsyth.

She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Higgins of Forsyth; two granddaughter, Courtney Beth and Victoria Higgins; one grandson, Matthew Scott; Former husband, Glendel Braden of Osceola, MO; one niece, Wanda Cavner and one nephew, David Plummer.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Taylor; two sisters, Mildred Cavner and Phyllis Plummer.

Memorials in memory of Margaret Taylor may be made to the Church of Christ of Forsyth, 137 Spring St. Forsyth, MO 65653.
