Patricia Ann Washburn, 82, of Forsyth, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at
her daughter's residence in Springfield. The visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Thursday, November 9th in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home. The funeral will
be at 10:00 AM Friday, November 10th in the funeral home with Pastor Juston Gates
officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
Patricia Ann Washburn was born Friday, April 5, 1935 in Omaha, NE to Charles Huberd
and Audrey Elnora (Booth) Williams. She attended school in Omaha and graduated from
Technical High School. After high school, she worked in a bank in the accounts payable
department. While in Omaha, she met Winston Washburn. They were married October
30, 1965 in Omaha. She became a dedicated homemaker. Patricia and Winston moved
to Colombus, NE, Cedar Rapids, IA and later to Fontana, CA. They moved to Forsyth in
1995. Winston died in 2016.
Patricia enjoyed reading mystery novels, Bible studies, crocheting, sewing and baking.
She was especially noted for her Snickerdoodles and Oatmeal Scotchies. She was also
a classic movie buff and a great fan of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She was a
through-and-through lady; reserved, gracious, a classy dresser and had a great sense
of humor. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and friend to all.
Patricia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Forsyth.
She is survived by a son, Paul Richard Washburn and wife, Julie of Kearns, UT; two
daughters, Mary Katherine Keever of Forsyth, MO, Carol Christine Tovar and husband,
Luis of Springfield, MO; one brother, Charles Huberd Williams, Jr. of Omaha, NE; one
sister, Virginia Lee Krom of Kingwood, TX; eight grandchildren and two
