Mr. Ronald J. Correll, 83, of Winfield, KS, formally of Forsyth, MO died on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Kansas Veterans' Home, Winfield, KS. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth. Interment will be in the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.

Ronald J. Correll was born on Sunday, December 30, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Frank and Chloea (Fuller) Correll. After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the Army from 1961-1963 and was a member of the All Rifle Team. Ronald was united in marriage to Therora Suzie Gideon on July 13, 1963 in Hutchinson, Kansas and they were happily married for many years.

Ronald was a hard worker and had a 30-year career as the fire chief in Forsyth, he also worked at the Forsyth High School as a custodian and bus driver. He likewise owned a gas station in Forsyth. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, helping out in his community and spending time with friends and family.

Ronald is survived by three children: Curtis Correll and wife, Kathy, Ronora Correll and Tony Coburn; four grandchildren: Dillon Correll, Dalton Correll, Brody McPhail and Katherine McPhail, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Theora Correll.
