Virginia Ingenthrone, 97, of Kissee Mills, died Thursday, May 16, 2019 at her
residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Colorado.
Virginia Francille Ingenthrone was born Thursday, March 23, 1922 in
Bennington, OK to Isaac Newton and Lillie (Childers) Hall. She attended
school in Louisiana and graduated from the State High School with the class
of 1941. Virginia was mostly a homemaker but worked as a bookkeeper,
baker and seamstress. Her last employment was with Mrs. Fields Cookies in
Westminster, CO. She was married to Donald Ingenthrone on November 12,
1971 in Colorado. He died in 2007. She moved to Kissee Mills in 2018.
While living in California, she became "Queen For A Day" in the 1947
Hollywood TV show. She also attended the John F. Kennedy Inauguration in
Washington DC in 1961. She was a great American who saw good in
everyone. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In her spare
time, she enjoyed baking cookies, reading, painting, watching old westerns
and the TV show, "Criminal Minds." She also enjoyed gardening, the outdoors
and "driving her car fast like she stole it". She was a member of the Faith
Lutheran Church in CO.
She is survived by two sons, Brian Partridge of Kissee Mills, Charles Partridge
and wife, Terri of Hot Sulphur Springs, CO; a daughter, Juanita Jinks and
husband, R.H. of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren, Tasha, Amber, Chrissy,
Breanne, Tommy and Alex and many great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; a son, Brett Adrian
Partridge and one daughter, Sandra Dee Dobbs.
Memorials in memory of Virginia Ingenthrone may be made to the Shepherd
of the Lakes Lutheran Church of Forsyth, 13904 US Hwy 160, Forsyth, MO
