Andrea Monroe (Angie) of Forsyth, MO died Wednesday September 9th, 2020 at Cox Hospital in Branson, MO. A memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M Sunday, September 20th at Bridge of Faith Community Church, Rockaway Beach, MO.
Angie Monroe was born August 5, 1948 in Hermann, Missouri to Leo and Helen Oetterer. She met Gary L. Monroe in St. Louis and was married on December 29, 1967. Angie moved to Cherryville, MO in 1992 and worked at the Brown Shoe Factory until she moved to Forsyth, MO in 2007 to be closer to her brother-in-law and family.
She enjoyed family get togethers, spending time with friends, cooking, sewing, donating to organizations, and most of all she loved being part of the Bridge of Faith Community Church family. Angie loved her Lord and Savior Jesus and she modeled this by serving. Angie served in the thrift stores and was well known by the thrift store community. Angie had a great heart and was always interested in helping people. Angie sewed dresses, purses, and made flip flops for young girls. This year Angie made face coverings to give away to anyone who needed them. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Daughter, Aunt and friend.
She is survived by her Nephews, James and wife, Angie, Jeff and wife, Tina, Adam and wife, DeAndra Monroe; seven great-nieces; two great-nephews; four great-great-nieces and one great- great- nephew and many friends.
Cremation is under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
