Beverley Jean House, age 71, passed away on Saturday, May 9th, 2020 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO.
Beverley was born on Monday, April 18th, 1949 in Gainesville MO to Charles Raymond Hankins and Wilma Lucille (Mitchell) Hankins. She graduated from Hughson High School in Hughson, California. Beverley held various jobs throughout the years including General Foods in California, multiple waitressing jobs in Branson, MO and most recently worked as a cashier and customer service representative at Country Mart grocery store in Hollister, MO. Beverley married Edward Paul House on September 19th, 1969 at the Chapel of the Bells in Reno, Nevada. The couple was happily married for nearly 50 years, until Edward’s passing in 2019.
Her pastimes included spending time with family and friends, watching old westerns, and reading books. Beverley was a Christian and loved God.
Surviving family members include her sister, Donna Tanka of Kissee Mills; two sons, Michael and Charles House of Forsyth; Daughter in-law, Beth House of Forsyth; two grandchildren, Breana and Mallorie and their spouses; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Beverley was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, brother, and her husband of 49 years.
Cremation will be handled by Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home in Forsyth with a memorial service to follow in the near future. Any flowers, gifts, or donations can be given at that time.
